Proposal
Project Title: MMUJunkyard
Project Type : Product for sales information
Introduction :
MMUJunkyard unlike any typical traditional dealer, provides a platform to help people sell usable but unwanted stuffs with a reasonable charges through the medium of internet as well as direct transaction. The downturn of economy worldwide has caused consumers to seek alternatives in spending lesser for both necessities and luxuries. Thus, MMUJunkyard is the answer to the increasing demand as we emphasize on cheap yet good quality product and utmost important- flexibility of purchasing in terms of time. We aim to lend a helping hand in conserving the environment by reusing items, promoting charity works as part of the proceeds will go to a charity organization and last but not least, to fully utilizing the world of internet.
Operation :
MMUJunkyard does two way of transaction - to help sell used items to customers with a reasonable commission charged. We assure the condition of goods sold by ensuring strict quality control towards goods obtained. MMUJunkyard works on cash basis only, regardless when dealing with suppliers or customers. Thus, received orders are only processed when payment are fully received from the customers.
Our business mainly focuses on selling used items or second-hand items that ranges from apparels in a variety, magazines, accessories, gadgets, furniture and any items that we find relevant for the use of our target group. We offer flexibility in terms of purchasing as they can purchase them online where we provide cash on delivery service. While the junkyard sale offers convenience, our auction/bidding items section will filter out items which us group member thinks will be the most wanted and appealing among students to create a little hype in our business. This offers big savings to the prospective customers and convenience as we will guide them through the process of bidding and winning the item of their choice.
Besides, we believed that to be a great enterprise, we have the responsible to help the weaker group in the society. Hence we will be obtaining handicrafts from unfortunate homes such as the old folks’ home or the handicapped homes and sell them to the public with no charge.
MMUJunkyard acts as the intermediary between consumers and supplier. We provide not only pre-sales interaction, but also after-sales services; for example: attending to complaints, warranty and the highest quality of assistance and customer service.We assure consumers on a myriad of items suitable for our target group at half of less the retail price. Although being cheap is one main consideration, we also do emphasize on the condition and quality of each item sold. Thus, we provide a 24 hours warranty and attend to complaints from consumers where we would refer them to the particular person we got the goods from with no charge needed.
